Questions

How long does suit production in Egypt take?

A sample follows within three weeks of an agreed tech pack. The sample is paid for, and its cost is refunded when the order is placed. Production then takes one to three months.

What should the tech pack include?

Measurements, the size chart, the cloth, the construction, quantities per size, the labels and a delivery date. We take your pattern, or help with pattern making and grading to every size.

How does your quality control work?

Each step has its own check: the pattern against the tech pack, the cloth for shade, the fusing on every batch, the seams at each operation and the shape on the form. Every garment is measured before packing. Our machines come from Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States.

Why make suits in Egypt, as an alternative to Turkey or China?

Cairo is a few hours from Europe, the Gulf and the rest of North Africa. For a European brand, that is nearshoring. We send a sample within three weeks, produce in one to three months from 200 pieces a design, and have Italian cloth at hand through Nile Wool.

How do we choose the best suit factory in Egypt?

Ask what the factory makes every day, see its floor, and read the houses it has made for. We have made suits since 1960 for houses such as Kenzo Homme, Pierre Cardin and Corneliani, and buyers can visit the Obour City plant by appointment. How to choose a suit manufacturer in Egypt.

Do you make single suits for tailors?

Yes. Tailoring houses, tailors and fashion designers send us one suit at a time, to individual measurements and in their own label, with no minimum order. See made to measure.

Is the minimum the same for every size and colour?

The minimum is 200 pieces a design. All sizes count toward it and you choose the split, with no minimum per size or colour. See what we make.

Where do you ship, and which languages do you work in?

We ship anywhere. We work in English and Arabic.
